Magnolia macrophylla

Magnificent small specimen tree, very lge light green leaves, glaucous beneath, lge white flwrs in early summer, followed by lge pinky-red seed pods in to autumn. Probably has the largest leaves of any tree or shrub hardy in the uk! Prefers sheltered sunny well drained site. Ht 30-40ft/10-13m
