Sub-shrub, semi-evergreen, depending upon weather. Hairy, glutinous stems, serrated, spear shaped leaves, yellow flwrs on leafy spikes, summer. Ht. 2-3ft/60-90cms, sunny sheltered border, well drained soil. Protect in winter with mulch.
