Ruscus aculeatus Butcher's Broom

Sml erect clump forming shrub, green thick flexible stems upto 1m. Spine tiped sml leaf-like cladodes on upper parts of stems. Sml red berries on female plants into winter. Needs male to pollenate. Good in dense shade.
