Deciduous, spreading, open shrub, purplish-red shoots. Stiffly drooping racemes of pale greenish-yellow flwrs, late winter/early spring, before pointed, deep green leaves appear, sun/part shade, any well drained soil. Ht. 1. 6m. Sprd. 3m.
